What’s happening in your Market?

We're back! Plymouth Market has reopened

Plymouth Market has reopened its doors for the first time since the lock down commenced in March.

We have been working tirelessly to ensure a safe shopping experience for all our existing and new customers, as we welcome you back.

Revised opening hours at Plymouth Market

To ensure we keep everyone as safe as possible, we have reduced our opening hours to 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, six days a week.
We remain closed, as usual, on Sundays.

Less shoppers, more space in Plymouth Market

Following government guidelines we are limiting customers to 100 at a time, to enable us to maintain the 2m social distancing rule.
This means you may be asked to queue. If so please be patient, be kind and consider other people’s personal space.
We are also providing hand sanitiser for all our visitors to use – please make sure you do to keep everyone as safe as possible.

We’re opening two entrances at Plymouth Market

For the time being, visitors to Plymouth Market will only be able to use the Market Avenue (opposite Frankfort Gate) and car park entrances. The New George Street and Cornwall Street entrances will remain closed.

We welcome you back to Plymouth Market

Currently not all our traders will be opening their stalls, as there are still restrictions in place. As you’d expect, you’ll receive a warm welcome from the stalls that have been able to open.

The Market team and all Plymouth Market traders look forward to seeing you soon.
