FUN HAD BY ALL AT THE 2022 CARNIVAL

Plymouth’s unique and independent quarter, The West End, hosted their beloved annual carnival on Saturday 27th August, and what an amazing time was had. The event offered a jam-packed day full of exciting activities for all ages, including free entertainment, musical performances and even circus performers; the atmosphere was simply terrific.

The theme of ‘The Sea’ was reflected perfectly, with splashes of colour and energy covering the West End. Visitors describe how “we had an amazing time dancing at the carnival” and that there was “a fantastic atmosphere”.

It was great to see a wide-range of Plymouth Market’s local businesses coming together to get involved in the carnival. Some offered delicious food and drink samples, whilst others dressed up and participated in the festivities.

We can’t wait to do this all again next year, and hope to see you there!
